The recent video work Poem examines the relationship between the body, identity, and digitally shaped self‑images. The video presents fragmented close‑ups of a real female body, filmed from shifting perspectives and shown in vulnerable poses. The figure remains anonymous and abstracted, appearing more as a general form than an identifiable individual. The written and spoken text functions as an inner monologue. It raises fundamental questions about choice, vulnerability, human relationships, and the search for identity and purpose. The work exposes the tension between how identity is constructed and how it is experienced.Despite increasing digital connectivity, new forms of distance and isolation emerge. At the same time, decisions and identity formations are shaped by digital models, algorithms, and structural conditions. Poem situates this dynamic in a space where digital constructs and lived reality overlap, making visible the fragility and instability of the contemporary self.
