LOHAUS GALLERY presents Harm van den Dorpel at Zero 10. Under the title ‘Generation’, the fair brings together artists exploring the technological, cultural, and philosophical conditions of digital life. It considers generation both as a computational process and as a broader artistic condition, connecting contemporary digital practices with histories of image-making, computers, and craft.

Van den Dorpel’s practice engages closely with these interconnected histories. Working across digital and physical media, he develops generative systems in which rules, chance, and evolving structures shape the emergence of form. His engagement with drawing, weaving, and computational processes reveals shared principles of repetition, pattern, and transformation, exploring how complex visual relationships arise from simple instructions.
