We are pleased that Magdalena Jetelová is also represented in this year’s PIN. benefit auction with a work from her series “Pacific Ring of Fire”. The auction takes place on 21 November 2026 at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. The work will be offered as lot 4.
Created in Patagonia, the series explores the fragility and constant transformation of the Earth’s surface. Using laser projections, Jetelová traces luminous lines across remote landscapes, symbolically revealing geological fault zones. Ice fields, coastlines and volcanic regions emerge as sites of latent energy and continual change. Presented as a lightbox, the work gives light itself a sculptural presence.
The auction preview opens on 7 November 2026 at the Pinakothek der Moderne. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm, and Thursday, 10 am to 8 pm.
